What began as an unplanned evening drive became the first journey in the Endeavour Expedition’s story.

Raven’s Roost has long been a familiar place — somewhere to sit beneath a favorite tree, look across the Blue Ridge, and simply be for a while. On this evening, the drive stretched into sunset.

Somewhere between the fading light and the mountains beyond the horizon, the idea that would become the Endeavour Expedition began to take shape.
